OMGOMGOMG I HAD THE BEST DAY YESTERDAY~
Thank you everyone for such an awesome day and especially to Mel and Carmen for organising it ^____^
Well, here it is from my perspective:
Went to Cabra station in the morning to meet Jeff. (who lives in Bondi, btw. THANKYOUU for coming all the way down to make sure I don't get lost x___o) Agreed to meet everyone else at the beach, so got a free tour of Bondi Junction before taking the bus there.
Found our biig group at the beach and got yelled "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" at. Got a pretty bouquet shoved at me. Turns out they decided to surprise-celebrate my bday nine months late, since I was overseas during my real birthday. Which was really very sweet of them. THANKYOU GUYS SO MUCH x333 YOU TOTALLY MADE MY HOLIDAYS.
Spent a fun few hours at the beach, and since I'm feeling particularly unintelligent after oversleeping today, I'm going to have to use dotpoints:
- Everyone got soaked splashing around in the waves - all except Jen and Angela, who just defeated the entire purpose of going to the beach. (JEN: You've obviously have yet to experience the joy of sandcastle building.)
- Tossed a frisbee around for a bit and stopped when we hit this sunbathing woman like three times. She raged. x_____x
- Ate salt and sand-wiches (Hahah Steph)
- Got dunked in the rockpools (no thanks to Jeff and Maxine..)
- Watched everyone else make human pyramids!
- Lazed around chatting, eating, taking pics, watching Tina (Jen's 5yr old sister)
Steph, Carmen and I went back to Mel's place afterwards, since they were sleeping over. Yvonne came afterwards. Ate, talked, and ate more. Then all of a sudden they brought out a cake with SIXTEEN sparklers stuck onto it~! ..I love you guys xD. Yvonne gave me a giant framed puzzle of pony which she had made herself.
Everyone was totally exhausted by the end of the day.
Well, I still am. I'd just like to say thankyou again for everything and I love you all :D
